AFFECTIVE COMMITMENT AS A MEDIATION VARIABLES EFFECT OF EMPOWERING LEADERSHIP ON EMPLOYEE CREATIVITY

Leaders are very influential in shaping the creativity of employees a company. This study aims to determine effect empowering leadership on employee with affective commitment as mediator. research was conducted at five Islamic financial institutions Yogyakarta. Respondents this amounted 219 from total 5 uses descriptive quantitative methods Likert scale its measurement. The data obtained were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and test hypothesis SmartPLS3.2. results showed that has positive commitment, creativity. Affective creativity, mediates influence Therefore, creating leaders needed empower making decisions order create employees.
